The license is not the product
NTerm is Apache License 2.0. You may deploy it across your organisation, modify it, and build on it commercially, with no fee and no permission needed. There is no enterprise edition holding features back.

- Deployment — getting NTerm running safely against your estate, including the reverse-proxy and access story we deliberately left to you.
- Priority fixes — a defect that blocks your team, jumped up the queue with an agreed timeline.
- Vendor dialects — Do bar support for platforms we do not cover yet, built against your gear.
- Integration — MCP wiring into your CMDB, NetBox, IPAM or ticketing.
- Roadmap input — a standing say in what gets built.
Compliance questions we get
Where does data go? Nowhere by default. NTerm runs entirely on your infrastructure. AI features call the provider you configure with the key you supply — you can point it at Azure OpenAI or a local Ollama and nothing leaves your network.
Is there telemetry? No analytics, no phone-home. The optional bench feed fetches content from nterm.ai when you press Pull; disable it and NTerm never contacts us.
SBOM / dependency review? Everything is in the public repository with pinned dependencies. Ask and we will walk you through it.
